Helton Hearing Care, formerly Micken Hearing Services, was the first and premier audiology practice in western Montana. For more than 40 years, we have been providing audiology services, hearing aids and accessories, Assistive Listening Devices, hearing protection devices and hearing aid repair service to help
improve the quality of life for many hearing impaired people in the Bozeman and Belgrade community, including its surrounding areas. We have a team of talented and dedicated professionals, led by Dr. Will Helton. Also, we are the only practice in Montana where all of our Doctors of Audiology hold National Board Certification from the only board that offers board certification in audiology, the American Board of Audiology (ABA).

Will Helton, Au.D., FAAA, CCC-A
Co-owner and Clinical Audiologist (Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology)
Dr. Will Helton earned his Doctoral degree in Audiology at the University of North Texas. He has a vast array of audiology experience including working in a private practice, industrial setting and hospital environments. He is licensed and certified by the State of Montana Board of Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists, and the only one of three audiologists (Dr. Katelyn Thompson and Dr. Emily Muffett) in Bozeman, MT, who holds National Board Certification from the American Board of Audiology (ABA).

Gee Helton, M.S.
Co-owner and Practice Development Manager
Gee and her husband, Dr. Will Helton, purchased Micken Hearing Services from Drs. Lee and Darrell Micken at the end of 2009. Gee was a scholar student from Thailand. She earned her Master’s degree in Economics from the University of North Texas. She and Dr. Helton enjoy working together. While Gee worked as a Policy and Planning Analyst for the Ministry of Education in Thailand, she and Dr. Helton also worked together as educators helping to improve the Thai educational system via various government projects and international organizations such as United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) for 6 years.

Emily Jurgensmeier, Au.D., CCC-A
Clinical Audiologist (Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology)
Dr. Emily Jurgensmeier earned her double Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences, and Early Childhood & Family Studies from the University of Washington and received her Doctoral Degree in Audiology from Syracuse University. Prior to joining the Helton Hearing Care team, she gained valuable experience at a private practice in Coeur d’Alene, ID assessing hearing disorders and providing rehabilitation services for hearing loss, working with patients of all ages, and veterans.

Katelyn Thompson, Au.D., FAAA
Clinical Audiologist (Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology)
Dr. Katelyn Thompson earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from the University of Oregon and received her Doctoral Degree in Audiology from Pacific University. Prior to joining the Helton Hearing Care team, she gained valuable experience at the Veteran’s Administration assessing hearing disorders and providing rehabilitation services for hearing loss. Additionally, she has experience working at an Ear Nose and Throat Clinic.

Megan Cassidy
Audiologist Assistant in Training
Megan was born and raised in San Diego, CA. Megan originally moved to Bozeman to pursue her degree at Montana State University in Psychology in 2021 after falling in love with Montana. After finishing her degree, she joined our team at Helton Hearing Care as a patient care coordinator. Megan brings over 8+ years of customer service experience to the clinic. Megan is excited to be part of the Helton Hearing Care team and help people hear again. She has always had a passion for learning, helping others and finds it very rewarding to be able to be part of changing people’s lives for the better.

Jaime Coulter
Patient Care Coordinator
Jaime was born and raised in Washington State, where she grew up with her older brother. Jaime originally moved to Billings Montana in April of 2022, so she could be closer to her brother and nephew. Later that year she met her now fiancé and moved here to Bozeman, where she joined our team at Helton Hearing Care as a patient care coordinator. Jaime brings over 12 years of customer service experience to the clinic working in retail, salons, and medical offices.

Patient Care Coordinator
Nancy has called the lovely community of Amsterdam home for the past nine years. She shares her property with her daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons, while her other daughter and grandson live in Washington. Not too far for a quick visit! Nancy joined Helton Hearing Care with many years of office administration and customer service experience. She enjoys working with people and takes pride in helping others, building positive relationships, and creating a welcoming experience for everyone she meets.
