For Our Communities

At Helton Hearing Care, our vision is to change hearts and minds, one smile at a time– making our world a better place for all. In addition to the over $200,000 in hearing instruments and Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) we have donated since 2010, here are more projects that we have proudly supported.

Hearing Shakespeare Project

To help people who are hard of hearing enjoy wonderful performances of Montana’s Shakespeare in the Parks (MSIP), Helton Hearing Care donated assisted listening devices to MSIP in 2012. The system works much like the one we donated to the Ellen Theatre in 2010. Ten devices are available each evening and are free of charge. Please contact MSIP staff before the show starts to request the loaner. It is not necessary to wear your hearing aids while using the headphones.

We are very pleased to make theater accessible to our community and all of the people in it.

We are a Friend of the Ellen Theatre

We have good news for those who appreciate the plays at the Ellen Theatre. This community space has become friendlier for the hard of hearing. With our contribution, the Ellen Theatre is now equipped with hearing assistive technology. The new system includes an FM transmitter, plugged directly into the sound board, which sends out a signal to eight Williams Sound transceivers in the audience. These eight (8) receivers can be loaned out per performance. There is no cost to you associated with the receivers. These receiver/headphone sets are designed to replace your current amplification during the show. It is not necessary to wear your hearing aids while using the headphones.

Please keep in mind that receivers are reserved on a first come, first served basis. Reservations can be made by calling the Allen Theatre at 585-5885. You will be requested to leave a driver’s license or a credit card during the loan out period.

We are proud to support our local community!
