Meet Emily Muffett, Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Emily Muffett earned her double Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences, and Early Childhood & Family Studies from the University of Washington and received her Doctoral Degree in Audiology from Syracuse University. Prior to joining the Helton Hearing Care team, she gained valuable experience at a private practice in Coeur d’Alene, ID assessing hearing disorders and providing rehabilitation services for hearing loss, working with patients of all ages, and veterans.
Dr. Muffett is passionate about counseling on hearing loss and educating her patients and their loved ones about how their hearing loss affects their communication in all environments. Dr. Muffett is only one of three audiologists (the other two are Dr. Will Helton and Dr. Katelyn Thompson) in Bozeman, MT, who holds National Board Certification from the American Board of Audiology (ABA).
Dr. Muffett was born and raised in a small town near Vancouver, WA. She recently moved to Montana to be with her soon-to-be husband, and plans to get married the summer of 2025. In her personal time, she enjoys being outdoors hiking, camping, paddle boarding, and (learning) to fish. She also enjoys baking, cooking, and spending time with her fiancé and cat.
