Meet Katelyn Thompson, Au.D., FAAA
Dr. Katelyn Thompson earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from the University of Oregon and received her Doctoral Degree in Audiology from Pacific University. Prior to joining the Helton Hearing Care team, she gained valuable experience at the Veteran’s Administration assessing hearing disorders and providing rehabilitation services for hearing loss. Additionally, she has experience working at an Ear Nose and Throat Clinic.
Dr. Thompson has a passion for working with individuals who are impacted by hearing loss. Dr. Thompson’s desire to pursue the career of audiology first started after she had her own personal experience with hearing loss as a teenager. Dr. Thompson is only one of two audiologists (the other two is Dr. Will Helton) in Bozeman, MT, who holds National Board Certification from the American Board of Audiology (ABA).
Dr. Thompson was born and raised on the coast of Oregon. In her personal time, she enjoys hiking, exploring, reading, and watching movies with her husband and their dog. She has been enjoying exploring the beautiful state of Montana.
